Celestica is looking for a Manager, IT Business Partner to lead the alignment between our R&D Engineering teams and global IT capabilities. Reporting to the Director of IT Business Partners, you will be a critical driver of business efficiency, growth, and innovation, translating business vision into a technology roadmap and managing high-impact projects from ideation to delivery.
What You'll Do
- Facilitate and run detailed requirements gathering workshops with business subject matter experts.
- Build close relationships with functional areas to understand IT needs for innovation, growth, and efficiency.
- Function as a liaison between business units and IT’s development team to design and implement new solutions.
- Be accountable for the completion of key project activities in collaboration with IT PMO, internal IT teams, and vendors.
- Negotiate with teams and escalate when project roadblocks are encountered.
- Research current technology and its function within the enterprise to improve business processes.
- Conduct technical research on system upgrades to determine feasibility, cost, time, and compatibility.
- Conduct feasibility studies and perform cost-benefit analysis for process improvement needs.
- Analyze and evaluate business procedures or problems to define needs for improved processes or systems.
- Qualify and help prioritize requirements when there are constraints on IT resources or budget.
- Participate in hardware and software evaluations for proposed solutions and prepare readouts for the business team.
- Stay informed on new or emerging trends and technologies that provide benefits to the organization.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated strength in business analysis, including requirements solicitation, documentation, and playback.
- Experience in defining requirements and activities for application development, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in performing objective analysis and re-engineering of business processes to maximize quality service and cost-effectiveness.
- Demonstrated awareness of Engineering R&D processes and tools to translate business requirements to technical IT requirements.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and Information Security tools.
- Demonstrated strength in project management and planning.
- Proactive approach to problems and issues.
- Skill in analysis, problem solving, critical thinking and decision making.
- Understanding of Electronics Manufacturing and Operations, Production planning, Logistics and operational processes.
- Understanding of functional areas such as finance, supply chain and quality.
- Business or technical writing as evidenced by previous work-related experience.
- Understanding of standard application development design process, and project management tools.
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.

Team & Environment
This role reports to the Director of IT Business Partners and supports Celestica’s Hardware Platform Solutions (HPS) organization.
Work Mode
This is an on-site position based in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
