Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity is hiring a Manager, Digital Marketing to plan, execute, and analyze digital marketing campaigns. You will manage the paid advertising budget and use data-driven insights to promote programs, events, and international ticket sales for our arts and cultural initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute comprehensive paid digital marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of paid advertising campaigns across platforms like Google, Meta (Facebook), and Instagram.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyzing key metrics to assess effectiveness and make data-driven adjustments.
- Manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
- Collaborate with the creative team to guide creative needs from a data-driven perspective and create digital design for related assets.
- Utilize audience segmentation, targeting, and A/B testing to deliver personalized marketing messages and improve performance.
- Utilize analytics tools to track campaign performance and generate comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
- Work closely with the events team and collaborate with external partners, vendors, and agencies as needed.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in digital marketing and implement industry best practices.
What We're Looking For
- A university degree or college diploma in communications, marketing, public relations or a related field; or relevant acquired experience.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a web/digital marketing environment, including hands-on understanding of current trends.
- Strong understanding of social media, content marketing, web and email marketing best practices.
- Experience in user experience, web navigation, UX/UI, wireframes and mockups.
- Experience with CRM environments.
- Proficient in web development tools including HTML, CSS, JQuery, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, XD as well as video editing software.
- Familiarity with best practices in Information Architecture.
- Extensive experience with Google Analytics, Tag Manager, SEO/SEM, MS Office.
- Highly motivated self-starter with demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and projects.
Nice to Have
- Social Media analytics (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) an asset.
- Digital Advertising Experience an asset.
- Experience with online content management systems (WordPress / Drupal), SEO, and email marketing software (MailChimp, Constant Contact).
- Bilingual (French, English) an asset.

Team & Environment
This role is part of the Marketing and Communications team and reports to the Director, Marketing.

- Compensation range: $68,714 - $102,040 based on experience.

Work Mode
