DaVita is hiring a Manager, Clinical Programs to develop and oversee operations for the Clinical Pharmacy Management Team. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Clinical Pharmacy Management, you will be responsible for the direct management of the Authorization Coordinators, ensuring team service levels are achieved and operational impacts are managed. You will collaborate with leadership across departments to identify, recommend, and support the formulary management process within our community-first culture.
What You'll Do
- Perform daily team management by delegating tasks, determining priorities, managing team inboxes, and ensuring metrics are met.
- Focus on driving team dynamics to leverage team strengths.
- Manage and oversee assigned projects with significant accountability, meeting expectations to deliver results.
- Assist in the detailed review and development of training materials and other collateral to support clinic teammates.
- Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to direct reports to meet training, service level, and operational needs.
- Participate in the creation and implementation of Clinical Pharmacy Management department goals.
- Build on the clinical vision to identify opportunities, develop innovative solutions, and build business cases for initiatives.
- Manage and coordinate urgent and complicated support issues.
- Apply strong problem-solving abilities to take complex issues, develop detailed plans, and coordinate execution.
- Provide coaching and assistance to direct reports in disciplinary action, training, problem resolution, and work delegation.
- Collaborate with other Village departments, such as Pharos IT, to manage system development and enhancements.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly updates on team performance to ensure alignment with goals.
- Provide recommendations to meet metrics and deadlines.
- Help with reporting and presenting the work of Clinical Pharmacy Management to other stakeholders.
- Ensure change is managed in a positive and constructive manner.
- Ensure continued awareness of and adherence to the organization's Mission and Values.
What We're Looking For
- Prior hands-on experience as a Team Supervisor in a business environment or call center.
- Knowledge of techniques necessary to manage team activities, process workflow, and coaching.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work within a fast-moving work environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with project management, problem solving, strategy development and alignment.
- Experience working in a highly matrixed organization.
Nice to Have
- Experience managing a remote team strongly preferred.
- A Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
Team & Environment
You will directly manage a team of Authorization Coordinators and report to the Sr. Director of Clinical Pharmacy Management.
