About the Role

Allstate NI is hiring a Manager, Casualty Claims ADR - Accident Benefits to lead a team of Claim Advisors. Reporting to the Senior Manager of National Accident Benefits, you will be accountable for loss and expense cost containment, customer experience, and driving efficiency, effectiveness, and employee engagement within your team.

What You'll Do

  • Provide operational leadership and direction to a team of Claim Advisors specializing in Accident Benefits.
  • Analyze individual and team performance to positively impact financial results within claim performance metrics.
  • Develop employees through coaching and feedback to prepare them for career advancement.
  • Recommend and maintain an optimal team organization design, aligning roles and accountabilities.
  • Actively seek improvements in customer service, efficiencies, employee engagement, and cost containment using Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Collaborate with departmental Claim Managers to deliver on team objectives.
  • Ensure performance and development plans are in place for all direct reports.
  • Provide ongoing direction to the team to help them achieve performance targets.
  • Participate in Talent Pool Assessments.

What We're Looking For

  • 3-4 years of Casualty Claim experience specifically in Accident Benefits.
  • Strong people leadership and management experience.
  • Enrolled in, or completion of, the CIP designation.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Advanced knowledge of business technology systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Legal and Regulatory requirements, such as Provincial Insurance Acts.

Nice to Have

  • Strong working knowledge of foundational management systems like Continuous Improvement, Agile, and Change Management.
  • Working knowledge of Tableau.
