Jarrard, a Chartis company, seeks a Manager, Business Development and Consulting Operations to support the execution of firm-wide priorities and help build operational infrastructure. This internal role provides hands-on experience across strategic functions as the firm expands its impact on the healthcare industry.
What You'll Do
- Support leadership to advance firm priorities and collaborate with firm resources to deliver results.
- Help plan and execute internal meetings and events, including weekly, quarterly and annual meetings.
- Support strategic initiatives and special projects, such as AI adoption.
- Assist in refining internal processes for knowledge sharing and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate on designing education and training content for professional development.
- Guide client teams in applying best practices for client engagements, including kick-offs, pause-and-learn sessions, and project closeouts.
- Assist in organizing and managing high-profile strategic pursuits with consulting leadership and the VP of BD Ops/Chief of Staff.
- Support planning, content creation and execution of large-scale business development opportunities like speaking engagements and channel partnerships.
- Contribute to day-to-day business development, including pitch deck development, proposal writing, and ad hoc support.
- Help maintain and evolve business development support resources for firm leaders.
- Maintain the firm's proposal library and ensure accurate tracking of institutional knowledge.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of experience in a professional services or consulting environment.
- A bachelor’s degree.
- Strong project management experience with comfort managing and prioritizing under tight timelines.
- Ability to rapidly learn and synthesize new knowledge and insights.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize content into concise, informative communications.
- Exceptional client service orientation—highly responsive and willing to go the extra mile.
- Advanced capabilities in MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- A flexible self-starter able to manage multiple projects and processes while remaining extremely detail-oriented.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Interest in building a career in operations, consulting support, or business development.
