LinkedIn is looking for a Manager to join our Enterprise AI team. You will lead a team responsible for building Generative AI-powered tools, search, and recommendation models that transform recruiting and learning workflows, impacting $7B+ lines of business across our Hirer, Learning, and Enterprise Jobs verticals.
What You'll Do
- Directly lead a team of 6-10 engineers, providing technical guidance, career development, and mentorship.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Applications, Infrastructure, and Vertical AI teams to align initiatives and ensure optimal execution.
- Participate in key technical and design discussions with technical leads.
- Define and implement engineering and research best practices to maximize team productivity and drive faster iteration cycles.
- Attract top-tier talent and build a high-performing team culture.
- Operate strong engineering and scientific processes, including A/B experimentation, to validate impact.
What We're Looking For
- BA/BS in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of industry experience in Machine Learning, development, and algorithm-based solutions.
- 1+ year of management experience leading an AI/ML engineering team, OR 1+ year of Staff-level AI/ML engineering experience combined with management training.
- Hands-on experience in data modeling and machine learning.
Nice to Have
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience specifically in Machine Learning Engineering management and people leadership.
- Proven experience delivering impact with Generative AI products and Search and Recommendation systems.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in data modeling and machine learning.
