WECTEC Staffing Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, is hiring a Project Manager for its Early-Stage Solar Engineering & Construction team. You will manage a portfolio of assigned Solar projects through the early-stage process, preparing them for turnover to the Construction team. You will report to the Solar Regional Lead.
What You'll Do
- Manage the daily progress and strategy for each assigned Solar project.
- Develop a viable construction plan and schedule.
- Create, own, and manage individual project capital budgets, balancing variances across your portfolio.
- Analyze technical and financial data to identify trends, indicators, and notable variables.
- Negotiate and implement commercial contracts.
- Investigate project optimization opportunities.
- Participate in problem resolution and manage capital budget approvals.
- Utilize multiple software applications to manage critical data, deliverables, and key indicator reports.
- Support the larger Early-Stage team with process, tool, and training initiatives.
- Communicate and collaborate with Executive Leadership, Suppliers, and Regulatory Agencies.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering.
- Demonstrated Project Management experience.
- A strong financial and data analysis skillset.
Nice to Have
- Mechanical awareness or an interest in technical variables.
- Experience in Construction, the Energy Industry, or specifically Solar.
Team & Environment
You will be part of the Early-Stage Solar Engineering & Construction (E&C) team, reporting directly to the Solar Regional Lead.

- Compensation: $40.00/hr. to $45.00/hr.
