Mass General Brigham is hiring a Mammography Technologist to join its clinical team. In this role, you will perform a variety of radiographic procedures under the direction of a qualified physician and clinical supervisor. You'll be responsible for producing quality diagnostic mammograms and providing patient education.
What You'll Do
- Perform a variety of radiographic procedures and duties using prescribed levels of ionizing radiation.
- Operate imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images of specified body parts.
- Perform all activities according to Federal, State, local, and hospital policies for patients ranging from adolescent to geriatric.
- Instruct patients in Breast Self-Examination (BSE).
What We're Looking For
- Licensed by the Massachusetts Radiation Control Board.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Radiology).
- CPR Certified.
- ARRT (M) certification required.
Nice to Have
- ACS Certified in BSE preferred.
- Knowledge of the special needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients preferred.
