The Maintenance/Process Manager will lead and develop operations in process, maintenance, safety, and technology at DS Smith's site in Värnamo. This role involves strategic leadership of process and maintenance departments, driving continuous improvement using LEAN methodologies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing technical budgets and projects. The position reports directly to the Site Manager.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop work within process, technology, maintenance, and safety.
- Have overall responsibility for driving the process and maintenance departments via Senior Process Engineer and Maintenance Manager.
- Develop efficient maintenance strategies.
- Ensure technical KPIs are monitored and implemented.
- Improve general safety and the work environment through risk assessments and implementation of safety improvements.
- Manage the site's maintenance budget.
- Lead technology-related projects and purchases according to SODA methodology.
- Drive improvement work using LEAN methodology.
- Conduct root cause analyses.
- Ensure projects are correctly handed over to production.
- Actively identify and prevent risks.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and environmental considerations.
What We're Looking For
- Good knowledge in preventive maintenance.
- Experience with systematic improvement work according to LEAN or similar methods.
- Experience with EU's Machinery Directive.
- Experience leading and driving projects.
- Comfortable in a role focused on technology, structure, and development.
- Structured, engaged, and clear in communication.
