Grupo PiSA is hiring a Maintenance Manager to ensure the correct implementation of maintenance strategy. You will manage personnel and resources to guarantee equipment and general services are in optimal condition, meeting quality standards, applicable regulations, and safety requirements while ensuring continuous process improvement.
What You'll Do
- Guarantee the implementation of the maintenance strategy aligned with defined processes, work methods, and applicable regulations.
- Manage plant equipment and facilities, ensuring their correct operation, reliability, and availability, as well as contingency action plans.
- Ensure maintenance plans are updated and executed at established frequencies.
- Ensure all activities, processes, personnel, and equipment maintain validated status.
- Lead the analysis and resolution of deviations in your area by identifying root causes and ensuring corrective and preventive action plans are executed.
- Guarantee all maintenance activities related to capacity increases, new lines, products, or projects are completed on time.
- Ensure the necessary resources are available to fulfill the maintenance strategy and defined objectives, adhering to quality, manufacturing, productivity, and safety standards.
- Determine the area's budget, monitor for financial variances, and define corrective action plans when needed.
- Guarantee the availability of spare parts and tools required to fulfill all maintenance activities.
- Evaluate needs for technological updates to processes, equipment, and systems to ensure competitiveness and regulatory compliance.
- Manage your area's processes with knowledge and compliance of regulatory requirements of the Quality System for national and international health authorities.
- Ensure operating procedures under your responsibility are current and aligned with applicable regulatory requirements, as well as Corporate Policies and Directives for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Ensure your direct and indirect reports are trained and qualified for their activities per the job qualification matrix, prior to performing their functions.
- Establish quality indicators, monitor performance, and generate actions to correct adverse trends impacting regulatory compliance, ensuring the qualified and validated state remains current.
- Communicate and remedy in a timely manner any inconsistencies detected in processes under your scope that risk compliance with GMPs or applicable regulation.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience implementing maintenance systems.
- Experience managing maintenance teams and/or industrial machinery (managing teams of more than 50 collaborators).
- Experience analyzing and monitoring indicators.
- Experience implementing maintenance strategies.
- Experience as a leader in manufacturing roles.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical or food technology.
- Knowledge of maintenance management systems (indicators, planning, process control, financial controls).
- Knowledge of continuous improvement tools.
- Knowledge of maintenance systems and ERP (preferably SAP).
- Knowledge of national and international pharmaceutical regulations.
- Knowledge of FEUM requirements for Critical Systems (Good Engineering Practices documentation).
Nice to Have
- Master's degree (Desirable).
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Knowledge of national and international pharmaceutical regulations.
- Knowledge of plant facilities (HVAC, ACLA, PW, WFI) and production lines.
