About the Role
Responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnosing issues, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems across assigned locations to support continuous retail operations.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and service facility equipment including HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing systems
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks
- Respond to repair requests in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical failures
- Maintain accurate service records and logs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Replace worn or defective components
- Test system functionality after repairs
- Follow work orders and maintenance protocols
- Assist with facility improvements and installations
- Monitor fuel systems and dispensing equipment
- Conduct routine checks on lighting and signage
- Respond to emergency maintenance situations
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Support energy efficiency initiatives
- Adhere to environmental and regulatory guidelines
- Report recurring issues to supervisors
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures
- Ensure fire safety systems are operational
- Inspect building structures for wear or damage
- Assist with storm or weather-related repairs
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies
- Complete training on new equipment and procedures
