AmeriGas is hiring a Maintenance Technician to ensure our facilities and equipment operate smoothly and efficiently. In this critical hands-on role, you'll apply your technical skills to maintain a safe and functional environment for our operations.
What You'll Do
- Inspect, maintain, and repair devices, machines, and equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all ACE equipment.
- Ensure building structures, fixtures, and other company-related services operate efficiently.
- Document all work performed properly.
- Be involved as required in day-to-day production.
- Train employees on the handling of equipment.
- Model a commitment to safety through day-to-day behavior and follow company safety procedures and policies.
What We're Looking For
- 1 year of industrial maintenance experience.
- Plumbing, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical experience.
- Workable computer skills such as typing and working with web-based programs.
- Ability to work with a team, but also be self-motivated to complete tasks independently.
Nice to Have
- Industrial preventive maintenance practices.
- Industrial repair and general maintenance experience.
- Industrial 3 phase experience.
- Electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- PLC troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Basic welding experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs like Word & Excel.
- Basic Carpentry experience.
