LyondellBasell (LYB) is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to provide technical leadership and managerial oversight to maintenance technicians. Your focus will be on executing work safely, reliably, and cost-efficiently to achieve site and company goals, while driving strategic plans and gap closure efforts.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct supervision and leadership to assigned personnel to ensure maintenance activities are performed safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards.
- Provide guidance and support for technicians to develop technical and leadership skills.
- Collaborate with business unit counterparts to identify future maintenance requirements and continuously improve the effectiveness of maintenance services.
- Be responsible for the execution of routine and shutdown maintenance activities.
- Continuously seek out and drive cost reduction projects and best practices related to maintenance functions and work management systems.
What We're Looking For
- A High school diploma is required.
- Typically a minimum of 4+ years’ experience, preferably in a manufacturing or equivalent environment or an Associate’s Degree in a technical discipline with five years of experience.
- Strong supervisory and team motivation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to delegate and report on activities.
- Proficient personal computer skills, application software skills, and experience with computerized maintenance management systems.
- Knowledge of plant policies, specifications, and procedures.
- Strong planning and organization skills.
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends (day or night) with short notice.
Nice to Have
- Millwright maintenance experience is preferred.
- Some knowledge of PLCs is preferred.
- SAP and Excel experience is preferred.
