Wärtsilä is looking for a Maintenance Planner for a 12-month temporary position, providing essential maintenance planning support for long-term service agreements within the Marine 4-stroke portfolio. You will play a key role in preparing reports, budgets, and scopes of work for overhauls while updating supporting software tools.
What You'll Do
- Prepare the maintenance plan for each contract in your assigned area of responsibility.
- Plan and coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and overhauls.
- Plan the resources and competences required for the execution of field work.
- Build and maintain good communication with Contract Managers, customers, external providers, and other stakeholders.
- Follow up on executed and postponed maintenance tasks and improvements.
- Prepare and monitor the maintenance budget for annual contract budgeting on behalf of the customer.
- Assist in the development of our internal tools.
What We're Looking For
- B.Sc. in Mechanical or Production Engineering or equivalent.
- Theoretical knowledge of 4-stroke diesel engines.
- Basic IT software skills, including Office 365.
- Good co-operation, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Willingness to travel if needed.
Nice to Have
- Field service experience on Marine 4-stroke engines.
- Knowledge of CMMS/PMS tools, such as IBM Maximo or equivalent.
- Advanced communication skills.
- Understanding of contractual and financial business aspects.
