At Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), we're looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our facilities management team. In this role, you'll perform preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure building systems operate efficiently and safely.
What You'll Do
- Maintain lighting system bulbs and ballasts
- Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment
- Perform minor plumbing repairs
- Complete special tasks including painting, tenant services requests, and general maintenance as assigned
- Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on conditions impacting client occupancy and operations
- Respond effectively to all emergencies
- Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas
- Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws
- Comply with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials
- Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Document work performance and materials procurement as directed
- Perform PM's on chillers, air compressors and dryers, boilers, pumps, etc.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical in a commercial or industrial environment
- Must complete background and MVR check
- Candidate must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of BAS (Building Automation System) or QBAS (Qualified Building Automation System)
- Experience using Maximo CMMS
- Completion of an applicable technical training program
- EPA Universal certification
