1016 Meijer Great Lakes LP is hiring a Maintenance Manager, Facilities to oversee all aspects of maintenance, service, and repairs on machinery and facilities across all units within the complex. This role is accountable for 200% Safety – Self and Others while leading a team and managing critical operational and financial goals.
What You'll Do
- Oversee overall facility maintenance for each unit within the assigned Distribution/Manufacturing complex; manage staff, ongoing and special projects, and budget.
- Direct and oversee maintenance on conveyors, material handling equipment, ammonia refrigeration systems, and production equipment.
- Execute capital budgets and expenditures with Distribution/Manufacturing leadership.
- Partner with Corporate Real Estate to ensure buildings and grounds are maintained.
- Manage documented inspections, audits, purchasing, and inventory control.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 5 years prior leadership experience overseeing skilled trade workers with accountability for budgets and administrative tasks.
- Leadership ability to move a team forward to accomplish measurable goals in an environment of dignity and respect.
- Organizational ability to meet deadlines and complete tasks across team relations, safety, sanitation, and SG&A control.
- Developmental ability to teach, train, set expectations, and provide clear feedback to increase leadership skills and readiness with Supervisors.
- Critical thinking ability to be thorough in research, utilize sound metrics, and make impartial, fact-based decisions.
- Working knowledge to meet compliance requirements of Federal and State regulatory guidelines.
- Strong project planning, management, budgeting ability, and organizational strengths.
