Wärtsilä is hiring a Machine Operator to join our agile and dynamic production team in Porriño, Spain. This permanent role involves machining and deburring components and operating CNC machines, requiring a high degree of independence supported by your team.
What You'll Do
- Set up and perform basic care of machine tools
- Machine components according to specification
- Program and edit CNC machines
- Configure tools and accessories
- Use measuring equipment for precision work
- Perform quality control checks on your own work
- Operate engineering machinery such as drills, hand tools, and band saws
- Conduct deburring operations
- Use overhead cranes
- Communicate proactively with all operations teams to ensure compliance with OTIF
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and procedures
- Perform all tasks safely, following health and safety procedures
- Complete any other necessary tasks as required
What We're Looking For
- Knowledge of CNC machining
- Experience working with engineering drawings
Nice to Have
- Experience in other manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Good attitude and willingness to learn

Team & Environment
You will join our production team, working closely with logistics and other production teams, and report directly to the Production Workshop Foreman.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position based in Porriño, Spain.
