Lockheed Martin Canada is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer for its Space AI Talent Center. You will join a cross-functional team of experts, applying advanced AI and machine learning techniques to address intricate challenges within the Space domain in support of national security objectives.
What You'll Do
- Apply advanced AI/ML tools and techniques to solve complex problems in the Space domain.
- Collaborate with a diverse group of professionals across research, data science, software development, physics, and mathematics.
- Drive innovation and contribute to the development of solutions for critical Space domain challenges.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, or Image Processing.
- Experience with modern software development tools and practices.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen for government security clearance consideration.
Nice to Have
- An advanced degree in a STEM discipline.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, C++, C#, or MATLAB.
- Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Scikit-learn.
- Experience with RF, SAR, or EO image processing algorithms and techniques.
- Experience with AWS or another cloud computing platform.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
- An active TS/SCI clearance.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $89,300 - $157,435 (for CA, MA, NY excluding most major metro areas, CO, HI, IL, MD, MN, NJ, VT, WA, DC). $102,700 - $177,905 (for most major metro areas in CA, MA, NY). Salary varies by final work location.
