Future plc is hiring an AI Engineer, Email CRM

Role Overview

As the AI Engineer for Email CRM, you'll play a key role in transforming how personalized content is delivered through email. You'll work directly with Future's proprietary AI engine, Advisor, to refine and scale hyper-personalized recommendations based on user behavior and preferences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize and integrate Advisor, the company’s in-house AI recommendation system, to improve relevance and performance in email campaigns
  • Deliver tailored content in emails by analyzing individual user data and engagement patterns
  • Collaborate with Full Stack Developers and Data Engineers to align Single Customer View (SCV) data with final email outputs
  • Design and implement scalable 'Next Best Action' logic to drive engagement through intelligent decisioning
  • Report to the Technical Lead and contribute to roadmap planning and technical execution

Required Expertise

  • Proven experience developing and deploying machine learning models, especially in recommender or personalization systems using collaborative or content-based filtering
  • Strong command of Python, including libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
  • Experience working with large-scale data pipelines and cloud-based data warehouses, particularly BigQuery
  • Skill in building efficient APIs using FastAPI or Flask to serve real-time model predictions during email generation
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure for deploying and managing ML services
  • Understanding of marketing metrics including Open Rate, Click-Through Rate, and Conversion, and how AI influences these outcomes
