ABN AMRO is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to translate ideas into robust, production-ready machine learning solutions that deliver measurable impact. You will work within Grid Customer Insights & Hyperpersonalisation (CI&H), developing and improving MLOps capabilities on the central ML/AI platform.

What You'll Do

Design, develop, and productionise ML use cases together with Data Scientists
Apply MLOps principles to automate workflows, improve deployment, and manage the ML lifecycle
Ensure solutions meet quality, validation, documentation, and operational standards
Align on scope, risks, and delivery expectations throughout implementation
Contribute to shared frameworks, guidelines, and platform capabilities
Support the technical growth of colleagues and the MLE community
Work in Agile, cross-functional teams to deliver incremental, high-quality solutions

What We're Looking For

A Master’s degree, PhD, or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field
At least 3 years of experience building machine learning solutions in production
Strong Python skills and solid knowledge of SQL
Solid understanding of software engineering principles like modular design and CI/CD
Hands-on experience with MLOps practices and end-to-end ML systems
Ability to collaborate closely with Data Scientists, strengthen their technical skills and translate models into production solutions
Ownership mindset and strong problem-solving skills
Experience contributing to shared platforms, frameworks, or templates

Nice to Have

Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
Experience with Databricks and/or Azure Machine Learning
Experience working in Agile, cross-functional teams
