You will design, build, and run GenAI-powered applications that automate complex operational processes within Inkomen Collectief at Nationale-Nederlanden. You'll collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business experts to deliver production-grade AI solutions that improve customer journeys and internal efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain GenAI applications such as document extraction, agentic AI flows, and automated decision-support tools that smoothen the claim handling process for customers and claim handlers
- Bring AI models and agents into production and integrate them into the NN landscape (APIs, pipelines, monitoring, governance)
- Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Product Owners to refine requirements and improve the AI lifecycle
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and compliance through CI/CD, testing, and observability
- Continuously improve performance through optimization, caching strategies, and feedback loops
What We're Looking For
- Strong engineering skills in Python
- Experience with GenAI frameworks (e.g., LLMs, OCR / DocIntelligence, RAG)
- Experience building and deploying GenAI solutions in production environments
- A product mindset: thinking in outcomes, not output, and iterating quickly with stakeholders
- A focus on quality: testing, monitoring, performance tuning, and secure development are natural
- Curiosity, ownership, and a practical, hands-on approach to problem solving
- 4+ years of experience in AI engineering, data science and/or data engineering
- Background in Computer Science, Econometrics, Mathematics
- Dutch & English proficiency (C1+)
Nice to Have
- Experience with Azure infrastructure

- Salary between €5,363 and €7,661 per month (based on 40 hours per week) depending on your knowledge and experience
