Evernorth (Cigna Health Solutions India Private Limited) is looking for a Machine Learning Analyst to build scalable software solutions using LLMs and other ML models to solve challenges in healthcare. You will focus on speed to market and transforming healthcare with enterprise-grade, responsible AI solutions.
What You'll Do
- Build scalable software solutions using LLMs and other ML models to solve challenges in healthcare.
- Build enterprise-grade AI solutions with a focus on privacy, security, and fairness.
- Work as a Generative AI subject matter expert and architect to develop scalable, resilient, ethical AI solutions.
- Design AI output with nodes and nested nodes in JSON, array, or HTML formats for consumption on dashboards.
- Build extensible API integrations and low-code UI/UX solutions to extract information, integrate with GPT4, and present insights in dashboards.
- Build solutions that align with responsible AI practices.
- Envision solution outcomes to solve business problems with actionable insights.
- Understand how AI interprets data to build prompts that lead to expected outcomes.
- Architect and develop software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems with machine learning technologies.
- Work with frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch and open-source platforms like Hugging Face.
- Optimize existing generative AI models for improved performance, scalability, and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain AI pipelines, including data preprocessing, feature extraction, model training, and evaluation.
- Develop clear and concise documentation, including technical specifications and user guides.
- Contribute to the establishment of best practices and standards for generative AI development.
What We're Looking For
- Overall 1-3 years of experience.
- 1+ years of full-stack engineering expertise with languages like C# and Python.
- Proficiency in designing architecture, building API integrations, configuring and deploying cloud services, setting up authentication, monitoring, and logging.
- Experience implementing enterprise systems in a production setting for AI, computer vision, or natural language processing.
- Experience with information storage/retrieval using vector databases like Pinecone.
- Strong understanding and exposure in natural language generation or Generative AI like transformers, LLMs, and text embeddings.
- Experience designing scalable software systems for classification, text extraction/summary, and data connectors for different formats (pdf, csv, doc, etc).
- Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, Langchain, or Llama Index.
- 1+ years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
- Programming experience in C/C++, Java, or Python.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts.
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and services, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Hands-on experience with tools/products like Dynatrace, Splunk, or ServiceNow.
- Experience identifying KPIs on solution builds using Generative AI, for example: RAG-based Q&A, data summarization, text content generation, or data extraction.
- Understanding of standards and regulations related to the use of Generative AI for a US-based Health Insurance provider.
- Healthcare industry experience.
