This position is being sourced on behalf of a partner organization. We are currently seeking a Cloud Security Specialist focused on Microsoft Technologies - Remote within the United States. This role provides an opportunity to architect and fortify contemporary Microsoft cloud environments for enterprise clients. You will evaluate security infrastructures, construct and deploy Microsoft 365 and Azure security solutions, and guide organizations toward optimal practices. Working across diverse clients and industries, you will provide insights on compliance, Zero Trust methodologies, and cloud security standards while implementing robust, secure infrastructures. The position integrates hands-on technical implementation with strategic advisory responsibilities, demanding comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft cloud services, identity management, and security frameworks. You will engage with client teams and internal specialists, helping organizations protect data, streamline workflows, and mitigate potential risks. The role offers complete remote flexibility while enabling significant impact across multiple enterprise cloud environments. Accountabilities: · Assess client Microsoft 365 and Azure environments to evaluate security posture and detect potential vulnerabilities. · Design, implement, and refine cloud security solutions utilizing Microsoft 365, Azure, and associated technologies. · Develop architectural strategies, implementation roadmaps, and technical documentation to guide security adoption. · Apply Zero Trust principles, cloud security frameworks, and compliance standards to client engagements. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate comprehensive security solutions and processes. · Perform security assessments and deliver precise findings with actionable recommendations. · Support identity lifecycle management, automation initiatives, and cloud platform governance. Requirements: · 6+ years of IT experience with at least 4 years administering Azure/Office/M365 platforms. · 2+ years of experience with M365 security suite capabilities. · 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure security tools. · Strong understanding of Microsoft Cloud services across multiple domains. · Experience with lifecycle management and process automation. · Proficiency with Azure Resource Manager, PowerShell, KQL, or Terraform is preferred. · Microsoft certification required or to be obtained within 3 months of hire. · Excellent client-facing, written, and verbal communication skills. · Ability to manage multiple client engagements, deliver technical solutions, and collaborate effectively.
