We are searching for a proficient PKI Certificate Automation Engineer to construct, execute, and sustain automated solutions for certificate lifecycle management across extensive enterprise and governmental settings. This role will emphasize optimizing certificate issuance, renewal, and tracking through sophisticated automation technologies and coding. The top candidate will possess expertise in Venafi Trust Protection Platform, exceptional scripting capabilities, and comprehensive knowledge of PKI infrastructure and security compliance. You will work intimately with security and infrastructure teams, guaranteeing dependability, performance, and regulatory synchronization while contributing to groundbreaking solutions in a dynamic, fully remote workspace. Accountabilities • Construct, implement, and oversee automated PKI certificate issuance and renewal procedures. • Configure and manage Venafi Trust Protection Platform to support enterprise certificate management requirements. • Create automation workflows and scripts using PowerShell, Python, or equivalent tools to optimize certificate lifecycle operations. • Supervise PKI systems to ensure performance, reliability, and prompt certificate expiration management. • Engage with security and infrastructure teams to ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory standards. • Record procedures, scripts, and automation workflows according to internal and agency guidelines. • Participate in project stand-ups, reporting, and outcome-driven tracking to guarantee project objectives and timelines. Requirements • Minimum 4 years of practical experience with Venafi Trust Protection Platform. • Robust scripting proficiency for automation using PowerShell, Python, or comparable languages. • Comprehensive understanding of PKI architecture, certificate lifecycle management, and secure configurations. • Background aligning automation solutions with security and compliance prerequisites. • Capacity to operate independently and collaboratively in a remote, rapidly changing environment. • U.S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residency mandatory, with capability to work from continental United States.
