Side is hiring a freelance LQA Game Tester to be the first point of review for fully localized games into Brazilian Portuguese. You will play a critical role in ensuring a flawless, culturally authentic gaming experience for players.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with a global project team to review localized game content.
- Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors.
- Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines.
- Log detailed reports on errors and issues, providing suggestions for improvement.
- Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
- Identify missing or incorrect content and verify proper display of dates, calendars, and characters.
- Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation tasks.
- Oversee the quality of your work and contribute to the overall success of projects.
What We're Looking For
- Native-level fluency in Brazilian Portuguese.
- Conversational proficiency in English.
- Strong cultural understanding of the Brazilian Portuguese market.
- Computer literacy, particularly with Excel.
- Robust Internet research skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Previous experience using different software, applications, and websites.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams.
- Must be located within Portugal.
