Nestlé is looking for a Logistics Systems Engineer Intern to join our teams in Avenches, Switzerland. You will play an active role in projects and support for logistics software solutions, developing key skills on concrete industrial systems. This role places you at the heart of daily logistics operations, offering a rich and formative hands-on experience combining projects, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to the execution and validation of system tests for the deployment of the new WMS.
- Support and train end-users during the commissioning of the WMS.
- Write clear documentation and operational instructions.
- Create and improve reporting tools to drive performance.
- Conduct on-the-ground analyses close to logistics operations (observations, exchanges with operators).
- Perform system analyses (databases, logs, flows) for the Pick & Pack system.
- Identify root causes of malfunctions and propose concrete improvement and optimization solutions.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of logistics facilities.
- Contribute to the diagnosis and troubleshooting of systems.
- Ensure the application of safety, quality, hygiene, and environmental rules.
- Integrate fully into effective and collaborative teamwork.
- Communicate clearly, transparently, and in a structured manner with all stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- Final-year engineering student in automation, industrial computing, software development, or a generalist program with a computing option.
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in French and English.

- On-the-ground experience in a logistics department.
