Analog Devices is seeking an Analog Design Engineer to join its Precision Signal Chain Group (PSC). In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits, working under supervision while building technical depth through hands-on project work.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to the design of analog and mixed-signal circuit blocks such as amplifiers, voltage references, regulators, data converters, and sensor interfaces, following defined architectures and design guidelines.
- Perform block- and transistor-level simulations to verify circuit functionality and performance using standard design tools.
- Support performance verification activities to ensure designs meet defined specifications.
- Assist in debugging and resolving design issues of moderate complexity.
- Work closely with layout, verification, test, process, and applications engineers to support project execution.
- Participate in design reviews and technical discussions as part of a project team.
- Continue developing analog design expertise, understanding of mixed-signal systems, and familiarity with company design flows, methodologies, and products.
- Incorporate feedback to improve design quality and efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- Solid understanding of fundamental analog circuit concepts, including amplifiers, filters, references, and basic data-converter building blocks, with the ability to apply standard design techniques to meet defined requirements.
- Working knowledge of mixed-signal environments and the interaction between analog and digital circuitry, with awareness of signal integrity considerations.
- Proficiency with circuit simulation tools such as SPICE and the Cadence Design Suite.
- Basic understanding of analog IC layout principles and the impact of layout on circuit performance, with the ability to collaborate effectively with layout engineers.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams while following technical direction.
Nice to Have
