Responsibilities
- Convert system performance criteria into functional subsystem designs and technical specifications
- Oversee the full lifecycle of mechatronic systems, from concept through development to commissioning
- Make critical decisions on motion control, sensing, actuation, control methods, and system integration
- Guide trade-off analyses balancing performance, cost, ease of manufacturing, and long-term reliability
- Conduct technical reviews of engineering designs and project plans
- Assist in preparing systems for mass production, testing, and final release
- Work closely with system architects, project leads, and engineering teams across disciplines
- Serve as on-call expert for system setup and issue resolution, mainly in The Netherlands
- Travel to Southeast Asia to support customer installations and resolve technical issues
- Act as primary technical liaison for end clients when advanced support is required
