Responsibilities
- Perform analysis to identify discrepancies between current systems and requirements, proposing improvements
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT, ensuring alignment on project goals
- Develop and execute test plans, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to validate solutions
- Create and maintain documentation (user manuals, system guides) and facilitate training for end-users
- Analyze requirements and design test plans to prioritize test activities for each iteration
- Develop and implement functional test plans and strategies
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual testing methods to confirm design objectives and identify defects early
- Work closely with the development team to ensure quality testing practices are incorporated across the development cycle
- Write test documentation such as test cases, scenarios, and create test data
- Track and report bugs to development teams, working with them to resolve issues
- Perform new functionality and regression testing throughout the sprint cycle
- Proactively initiate, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with team members
- Stay updated on testing tools, methodologies, and Agile/Scrum practices
- Employ the government tracking tool Integrated Support System (ISS) and Azure DevOps to log and monitor incidents
Requirements
- US Citizen
- Active Secret Clearance
- Functional Analyst/Tester experience in logistics and transportation systems
- Experience supporting mission-critical systems with global user base
- Ability to serve as liaison between business
