Bombardier is hiring a Logistics Agent for Materials, focusing on Aircraft on Ground (AOG) within After-Sales Service. You will respond to urgent parts shortage requests to support the return to service of grounded aircraft, managing material flow to deliver exceptional customer service while respecting inventory and budget constraints. What You'll Do
- Respond to urgent parts shortage requests via phone, email, or web portal to support the return to service of one or more grounded aircraft and follow up with clients.
- Manage internal and external procurement of required material flow to ensure an exceptional level of customer service while respecting necessary inventory levels and established budget.
- Manage customer expectations when an aircraft is grounded and communicate clearly and effectively with clients throughout the event.
- Manage discrepancies affecting material inputs by proposing various solutions/alternatives and making suppliers aware of their commitments and operator requirements.
- Manage purchase orders and administer activities related to billing and price review.
- Analyze various situations clearly in a dynamic environment where decision-making must be quick, effective, and structured.
What We're Looking For
- 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a similar role involving time-sensitive operations.
- Excellent communication skills in English and French (oral and written).
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including 12-hour shifts (day/night and weekends) when required to support urgent AOG events.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
Nice to Have
- AOG experience is desired.
- Experience with SAP is an asset.
