Gate is seeking a Localization Specialist/Translator with a focus on the Russian language. You will be an integral part of our Globalization and Localization team, ensuring our products and content resonate with Russian-speaking users worldwide.
What You'll Do
- Translate and localize software interfaces, documentation, and marketing materials into Russian.
- Adapt content culturally to suit the target market while preserving brand voice and intent.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure technical accuracy in localized assets.
- Manage terminology and maintain translation glossaries and style guides.
- Review and proofread translations performed by external vendors or machine translation outputs.
What We're Looking For
- Native-level fluency in Russian and professional proficiency in English.
- Proven experience as a translator or localization specialist, preferably in a tech or product environment.
- Strong understanding of cultural nuances in Russian-speaking regions.
- Excellent writing skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple localization projects.
