Gate is looking for a Localization Specialist/Translator - German (Switzerland) to join our Globalization and Localization team. You will be responsible for adapting our content and products to meet the linguistic and cultural expectations of our Swiss-German user base.
What You'll Do
- Translate and localize product content, marketing materials, and support documentation for the Swiss-German market.
- Ensure translations maintain brand voice, tone, and cultural relevance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand context and requirements for localization projects.
- Review and proofread translated content to ensure high quality and accuracy.
- Contribute to maintaining and evolving our German (Switzerland) style guide and glossaries.
What We're Looking For
- Native-level fluency in German (Switzerland) and professional proficiency in English.
- Proven experience in professional translation and localization.
- Strong understanding of Swiss-German cultural nuances and market preferences.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
