Gate is looking for a German Localization Specialist/Translator to join our Globalization and Localization team. This part-time, remote role is central to adapting our product and content for the German-speaking market.
What You'll Do
- Translate and localize software UI, marketing materials, and support documentation into German
- Adapt cultural references, idioms, and formats to ensure market relevance
- Maintain linguistic consistency across all translated assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand context and requirements
What We're Looking For
- Native-level fluency in German and professional proficiency in English
- Proven experience in software or technical translation and localization
- Strong understanding of localization processes, tools, and best practices
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
