Remote is looking for a contract Localization Specialist - Korean to join our creative team. You will be integral to the localization process for major online creators, adapting English video content into Korean for dubbing. Our mission is to entertain, inspire, and create significant social impact through the transformative power of digital media.
What You'll Do
- Optimize translations and adapt content for dubbing and localization from the English source video.
- Select and refine voice casts to ensure they match the English source video.
- Utilize new technologies to enhance dubbed content.
- Manage first-hand the production and quality control of dubbed content.
- Perform preliminary post-editing of clips to improve synchronization and combine inputs in collaboration with the editing team.
What We're Looking For
- C1+ English proficiency and native Korean proficiency.
- Experience with video-editing and audio-editing tools, preferably in dubbing or voiceover production.
- A scrappy self-starter with an owner-mindset, comfortable with emerging production tools and voice technologies.
- Organized and structured, with the ability to quickly adapt to changes in plans and priorities.
- Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Nice to Have
- 1-3 years of translation and/or adaptation for dubbing.
- Experience working in localization, production and/or post production.
