About the Role
The professional will deliver clinical assessments, individual and group therapy, and case management for youth in a residential program, ensuring evidence-based practices and coordinated care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual therapy sessions for youth
- Lead structured group therapy activities
- Collaborate with care team members on client progress
- Document clinical interactions and progress notes
- Monitor client behavior and emotional well-being
- Coordinate with external providers and families
- Participate in treatment team meetings
- Ensure adherence to therapeutic protocols
- Respond to behavioral crises as needed
- Maintain compliance with licensing standards
- Support transition planning for program discharge
- Engage in ongoing professional development
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical guidelines
- Contribute to program quality improvement initiatives
- Assist in the development of therapeutic programming
- Supervise trainees or interns when applicable
- Follow safety procedures in residential setting
- Promote a trauma-informed care environment
