This position is responsible for overseeing live logistics operations, ensuring that field activities proceed according to plan, and addressing disruptions as they occur. The specialist acts as a central point of coordination, supporting teams across regions and maintaining service reliability through proactive monitoring and communication.
Responsibilities
- Monitor active logistics operations to ensure adherence to timelines and service standards
- Coordinate with field personnel to confirm task assignments and delivery schedules
- Respond to real-time operational disruptions with timely solutions
- Track shipment statuses and update stakeholders on progress
- Communicate changes in delivery timelines to relevant parties
- Verify route plans for accuracy and efficiency
- Support dispatch teams with resource allocation during peak periods
- Maintain accurate records of logistics activities and outcomes
- Escalate critical issues to management when necessary
- Collaborate with customer service to resolve delivery concerns
- Ensure compliance with local transportation regulations
- Provide updates during emergency or high-priority situations
- Assist in onboarding new logistics partners
- Review performance data to identify operational bottlenecks
- Facilitate communication between drivers and operational hubs
- Use digital tools to monitor fleet movements
- Report daily on key operational metrics
- Follow established protocols during service deviations
- Support post-operation debriefs and analysis
- Maintain consistent communication during shift handovers
