About the Role

The line cook will be responsible for preparing menu items, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and supporting the culinary team during service hours with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing according to safety standards
  • Cook food following recipes and quality guidelines during all service periods
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout shifts
  • Assist in restocking and organizing pantry and refrigeration areas
  • Follow food safety and sanitation protocols at all times
  • Work efficiently under pressure during peak service hours
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely plate delivery
  • Monitor food quality and presentation before leaving the kitchen
  • Adapt to changing menu items and seasonal offerings
  • Support senior cooks and chefs with various kitchen tasks
  • Handle kitchen equipment safely and report malfunctions promptly
  • Comply with health and safety regulations in all operations
  • Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
  • Minimize food waste through proper handling and storage
  • Respond quickly to ticket orders and communicate any delays
  • Maintain professional demeanor in a high-energy environment
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions
  • Follow uniform and grooming standards at all times
  • Assist in plating and garnishing dishes as required
  • Support the execution of special event menus and promotions
  • Uphold consistency in taste, portion, and appearance of dishes
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful kitchen culture
  • Report any supply shortages to supervisors
  • Ensure all equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use
  • Assist in receiving and inspecting food deliveries

Compensation

Competitive hourly wage based on experience

Work Arrangement

Full-time, on-site with variable shifts including evenings and weekends
