About the Role
This position involves providing remote mental health counseling to individuals and families using secure telehealth platforms. The clinician will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions while adhering to ethical and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individual and family therapy via secure video conferencing
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments
- Develop and update personalized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members
- Adhere to HIPAA and other privacy regulations
- Respond to client communications within established timeframes
- Participate in clinical supervision and team meetings
- Engage in ongoing quality improvement activities
- Follow agency policies for crisis intervention and risk management
- Provide psychoeducation to clients and caregivers
- Utilize diagnostic criteria from the DSM-5-TR
- Support client engagement and retention in treatment
- Monitor treatment progress and adjust plans as needed
- Uphold professional boundaries and ethical standards
