Spark Advisors is looking for a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for a remote, part-time position. You will deliver direct counseling services to families, couples, and children as part of a growing multi-disciplinary team dedicated to life-changing care.
What You'll Do
- Deliver direct counseling services to families, couples, and children, including patients, parents, and siblings.
- Utilize tailored therapeutic approaches such as Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and Solution Focused Collaborative Therapy.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, attending to relational ethics and ensuring wrap-around support for families.
- Engage team members to share information and ideas and participate in family care meetings with other providers.
- Maintain documentation and communication in line with legal, ethical, and company standards.
- Comply with all clinic policies, state and federal laws, and licensing board requirements.
- Adhere to and support team adherence to organizational standards and policies.
- Safeguard patient information with knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
What We're Looking For
- Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
- Current and unrestricted license to practice in the state of California.
- Hold a current, unrestricted license and/or certification and be willing to obtain cross-state licensure as needed.
- Knowledgeable in empirically supported psychotherapy treatment approaches including cognitive and behavioral, postmodern/post-structural, social-constructionism, and narrative therapy.
- Commitment to providing exceptional client care and using client feedback for improvement.
- Open-minded desire to learn from other professional disciplines and from colleagues and families.
- 1 year or more of experience working with children or families with developmental differences.
