AdventHealth is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (Primary Care) to join our team. In this role, you will provide quality patient-focused care in a physician’s clinic, coordinating patient flow, performing clinical duties, and assisting physicians. What You'll Do

Coordinate and provide quality patient-focused care in a physician’s clinic.
Place patients in the examining room and ensure their comfort.
Perform patient intake entry, obtain vital signs, and document patient information.
Assist physicians with examinations, treatments, and office surgeries.
Perform phlebotomy and laboratory tests as required.
Screen telephone calls, take accurate clinical messages, and answer routine patient inquiries.
Perform triage duties according to practice protocols.

What We're Looking For

High School Graduate or Equivalent.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Basic Life Support - CPR Certification (BLS).
Ability to use computers, telephone, fax machine, copier, stethoscope, EKG machine, pulse oximeter, oxygen devices, wheelchairs, stretchers, scales, glucose monitor, and other patient care equipment necessary to perform required duties.

Nice to Have

Associate degree or equivalent specific to Licensed Practical Nurse.
1+ year of position-related experience.
Proficiency attained via on-the-job training and orientation.
