About the Role
Design and construct 3D levels that support gameplay objectives and narrative elements, ensuring environments are functional, visually coherent, and optimized for performance.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed 3D level layouts using industry-standard tools
- Collaborate with artists and developers to align level design with visual and technical standards
- Implement gameplay mechanics within level environments
- Optimize level assets for performance across target platforms
- Iterate on feedback from playtesting and team reviews
- Ensure consistency in scale, lighting, and spatial navigation
- Develop level prototypes to test core gameplay concepts
- Integrate audio, effects, and interactive elements into scenes
- Maintain documentation for level progression and design decisions
- Adhere to project timelines and deliverables for each phase
Nice to Have
- Experience with scripting or blueprint systems
- Background in narrative-driven or exploration-focused games
- Knowledge of VR or AR environment design
- Previous work on shipped interactive titles
- Understanding of player psychology and engagement mechanics
