Penn State Extension is looking for a part-time Lehigh County 4-H Program Assistant to support youth development initiatives. You will join the Lehigh County Extension team, helping to promote and deliver 4-H educational programs to local youth.
What You'll Do
- Assist in planning and delivering 4-H school enrichment programs and activities
- Assist in program marketing and promotion to reach new youth audiences
- Assist in coordination, communication, and supervision for 4-H members and their families
What We're Looking For
- An understanding of child and youth development and the ability to effectively teach and interact with youth
- Knowledge of educational principles and presentation preparation skills
- Good communication, organization, and record-keeping skills
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle as part of job duties
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with the 4-H program
- A Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in education, science, engineering, or volunteer development
Benefits & Compensation
- The starting rate for this job is $20/hour.
