NTU Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine is looking for a Lecturer to lead a postgraduate course focused on the intersection of art and technology. You will teach students to merge creative and technical disciplines in the development of compelling game concepts and pitches.
What You'll Do
- Teach the postgraduate course AP6402 Art-Tech Collaboration commencing in August 2026.
- Develop cross-discipline interaction to combine art and technology in the creative process of developing a game concept.
- Guide students in exploring team-based skills and strengths to create a convincing game concept pitch, including a demonstration portion of gameplay.
- Oversee the integration of art assets into game engines and manage technical constraints without sacrificing aesthetic quality.
- Guide teams through the development of gameplay demonstrations.
- Mentor students in Technical Art or Creative Production workflows, ensuring research, ideation, and technological investigation result in a cohesive, functional game concept pitch.
What We're Looking For
- Expertise in bridging the gap between artistic vision and technical implementation.
- A relevant Master’s and/or PhD in Technical Art, Game Development, Interactive Media, or a related field with a track record of creative practice in roles that require high-level Art-Tech synthesis.
- In exceptional cases, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and sufficient and relevant industry experience (such as Technical Artist, Art Lead, or Creative Producer) may be considered.
Nice to Have
- Past teaching experience at the Undergraduate Level.
