The Learning Multimedia Designer will combine creative design with learning design principles to develop impactful digital learning experiences. This role is with Remote Raven and supports an Australian client, focusing on creating engaging multimedia content and learner journeys from concept to delivery.
What You'll Do
- Develop learning content end-to-end — from storyboarding and scripting through to delivery and iteration
- Create short-form videos, animated explainers, and other multimedia for training
- Structure content around a clear learner journey using adult learning principles and storytelling techniques
- Design for digital and blended learning environments
- Apply instructional design concepts such as chunking, scaffolding, and assessment design
- Collaborate with SMEs to translate technical or operational content into learner-friendly formats
- Produce engaging learning assets for use across eLearning platforms
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience developing learning content end-to-end — from storyboarding and scripting through to delivery and iteration
- Confident in creating short-form videos, animated explainers, and other multimedia for training
- Skilled at structuring content around a clear learner journey, using adult learning principles and storytelling techniques
- Experience designing for digital and blended learning environments
- Strong understanding of instructional design concepts (e.g. chunking, scaffolding, assessment design)
- A fast learner with initiative, great communication skills, and obsessive attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Background in hospitality or retail is a strong plus
- Bonus: Working knowledge of tools like Figma, Photoshop, Audacity, or AI-powered creative tools
Technical Stack
