About the Role

GE HealthCare is hiring a Lean Leader to drive lean transformation across the Aquila region, which includes the UK & Ireland, Nordics, Netherlands, Eastern Europe, and IMI. This role acts as a strategic advisor to the Commercial Leadership Team, developing operational improvement plans and building lean capabilities within leadership and the broader organization.

What You'll Do

  • Leverage strategic vision to lead the region through lean transformation, operationalizing the GE HealthCare Heartbeat business operating system.
  • Provide overall Lean leadership and coaching; partner with Zone leadership to develop lean strategy and priorities.
  • Identify and support key lean projects across the Zone and project manage initiatives through to outcome.
  • Train and teach colleagues the culture of continuous improvement and upskill our Leadership team on Lean principles.
  • Initiate sustainable process improvements using lean strategies to exceed customer expectations and improve business performance.
  • Develop schedules and facilitate kaizen, value stream mapping sessions, and problem-solving activities.
  • Be an ambassador for culture change, creating meaning and demonstrating value whilst energizing colleagues.
  • Create and maintain effective dashboards and daily management boards in a PowerBI environment; drive for automation.
  • Lead change management efforts through culture and project management.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor's degree with significant experience operating with lean principles.
  • Proficiency in reporting and the use of MS Office (PowerBI, Excel, PowerPoint), Smartsheet, or similar tools.
  • A strong Lean background and familiarity with Lean methodologies.
  • A proven track record of implementing Lean principles to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Ability to envisage and design impactful daily management boards to drive actions.
  • Experience driving transformation and lean maturity by advancing strategic initiatives, promoting a Lean mindset, and building leadership capabilities.
  • Commercial experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to influence key stakeholders.
  • Leadership that inspires and energizes the organization, with strong coaching, negotiation, and listening skills.
  • Results-oriented approach and comfort addressing difficult issues head-on and facilitating tough problem-solving conversations.

Nice to Have

  • Experience incorporating AI as part of transformation activities.

Team & Environment

You will be part of the Aquila Leadership team and partner with the Commercial Leadership Team and Zone leadership.

Work Mode

This role will operate in a local-country work mode within the Aquila region: UK & Ireland, Nordics, Netherlands, Eastern Europe, and IMI.
