Klaviyo is hiring a Lead Video Strategist & Producer to architect and operationalize a strategic, repeatable video engine within Marketing. You will develop recurring formats, build scalable production systems, and deliver high-quality, on-brand video programming across web, YouTube, social, and digital channels. This role combines creative leadership, editorial thinking, and hands-on production expertise to ensure video content is compelling, sustainable, and strategically aligned with marketing goals.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement scalable production workflows, templates, standards, and 'kit' components to support high-volume content creation.
  • Build repeatable systems that balance quality, speed, and efficiency.
  • Identify and implement workflow optimizations, including responsible use of AI-enabled tools.
  • Define the video roadmap for SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).
  • Work across the organization, partnering with Marketing and Customer Education teams.
  • Lead and direct external agency partners and internal resources.
  • Build and own the systems required to produce video series at scale.
  • Partner with teams to identify high-impact video opportunities.
  • Translate business objectives into structured video initiatives.
  • Coordinate with external partners and freelancers as needed.
  • Actively implement AI-enhanced workflows and emerging video technologies.

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience in video production, content strategy, and creative direction.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects across multiple departments.
  • Expertise in high-quality motion graphics and engaging video editing, balanced with strategic leadership.
  • Deep proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Figma, with mastery of AI-driven production and personalization tools.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex concepts into engaging visuals and repeatable content formats for a global B2C audience.

Nice to Have

  • Extensive experience in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
  • Deep background in storytelling-driven content that blends aesthetics with functional educational value.
  • Strong, proven understanding of YouTube, SEO/AEO, and social video content strategy.
  • Exposure to 3D design (C4D, Blender) or immersive web technologies.
  • Proven experience directing and managing large-scale video production budgets and overseeing external agencies.
