Sparklight is hiring a Lead Software Engineer to architect and deliver software for large-scale platforms serving a wide audience. You will guide the technical direction and development process while partnering with key business units to create customer-focused solutions.

What You'll Do

Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-level software for high-traffic, large-audience platforms.
Oversee and mentor junior and senior software developers and QA developers.
Collaborate with Digital Strategy & Marketing teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability across web and mobile platforms.
Drive strategic initiatives that contribute to customer value, retention, business revenue, and cost effectiveness.
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and team performance.
Champion best practices in software engineering, including CI/CD, automated testing, and code reviews.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of proven experience building enterprise-level software for large audiences and high-traffic environments.
Hands-on expertise with ReactJS, NextJS, Windows Azure, Vercel, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Experience leading and managing software development teams.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience with product/project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).
Experience with enterprise content management systems (SiteCore, AEM, etc).

Nice to Have

Experience with B2B/B2C, mobile applications, and ecommerce optimization.
Experience in cable/broadband industry.
