Societe Generale is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the core development of our Actuate (eRDPRO) and Triple A platforms. You will translate business needs into technical solutions, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure high software quality through rigorous testing.
What You'll Do
- Lead development for Actuate (eRDPRO) and Triple A core systems.
- Work with databases including Sybase and Oracle.
- Analyze and understand business requirements.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders across the organization.
- Conduct thorough unit testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs.
What We're Looking For
- 5-10 years of experience in Actuate development (eRDPRO) is mandatory.
- Proven experience in Triple A core development, including work with Format, Default values, Parameters, TAP scripting, and Business functions.
- Strong skills in Shell scripting.
- A clear understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and a process-oriented mindset.
- Solid fundamentals in Core Programming, Object-Oriented Design, and Design Patterns.
- Good RDBMS fundamentals with specific exposure to Sybase.
Nice to Have
- Experience in writing SQL, stored procedures, and functions.
- Exposure to the Investment Banking or Private Banking domain.
- Experience working with European teams, particularly in Luxembourg or France.
