GE HealthCare is looking for a Lead Project Engineering Manager to own the project control activity globally and drive consistent functional specifications and common global processes for projects implementation. You will serve as the technical leader and manager to develop scopes of work, plan schedules, and monitor engineering activities for customer projects.
What You'll Do
- Own the global project control activity and drive consistent functional specifications and common global processes for project implementation.
- Serve as the technical leader/manager to develop scopes of work, plan schedules, and monitor engineering activities for customer projects.
- Provide technical leadership and interface with Proposal Management, Cost Estimating, Partners, Customers, GE Product Engineering, Sourcing, and Engineering sub-contractors.
- Direct people management responsibilities including staffing and performance development.
- Use judgment to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address complicated manufacturing processes.
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
- May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
- Convey performance expectations and handle sensitive issues.
What We're Looking For
- For roles outside the USA: Advanced experience in Engineering/Technology & Customer Project Engineering. Knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor's degree or a high school diploma with relevant experience.
- For roles in the USA: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in relevant job family groups/functions).
