Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Lead Program Manager, Special Projects to drive high-impact initiatives with broad organizational influence. You will lead cross-functional programs with strict deliverables, ensuring alignment between strategic vision and execution. This is a high-visibility, individual contributor position ideal for someone with a strong executive presence and a passion for operational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Lead the full lifecycle of strategic, cross-functional programs, from scope definition and planning to execution and delivery.
- Align product, engineering, design, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent communication, goal clarity, and program cohesion.
- Develop program frameworks, manage interdependencies, and proactively mitigate risks, delays, or scope creep.
- Monitor program KPIs to ensure alignment with business goals and track value realization and ROI.
- Own program budgets and resource allocations, ensuring delivery within cost and time constraints.
- Serve as a mentor and thought leader within the program management function, championing best practices and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- 10–15+ years of experience managing large-scale, complex programs in a product/technology setting.
- Proven ability to translate strategic objectives into detailed execution roadmaps with clear business impact.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; adept at influencing across all levels of an organization.
- Strong financial and analytical acumen, including experience with budget oversight, forecasting, and ROI analysis.
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycles, agile methodologies, and technology-driven operations.
- A collaborative mindset, resilience in high-pressure situations, and a commitment to driving results.
